Casey Montoya - Two More Years In Prison
The Northwest's most notorious eco-activist,Tre Arrow will be released out of prison in 2010 or early. Arrow Tre, known as Michael Scarpitti was sentenced for 78 months in prison after seven years when he burned cement trucks in Portland and logging trucks in Eagle Creek informed Casey Montoya. Tre Arrow history goes back to 2000 when he protested agains destruction of the environment by climbing the outisde of the U.S. Courthouse in Portland. He stayed up there on a window ledge for days, surrounded by posters, supporters and the media. In 2001 he was burning trucks, he was almost caught, got feneral custody in Portland.
The sentence of 78 months will be reduced if he is qualifyed for "good time" meaning if he does not cause serios trouble in prison, he can have another 50 days per year reduction and by 2008 should be released thinks Casey Montoya.
After release he will be on probation for three years during which time he is supposed to pay restriction to to the Ross Island Sand and Gravel Company and the Schoppert Logging Company of more than 100,000 U.S. dollars.
